Savvi Marina Platamonas

Savvi Marina Platamonas is in Platamon, a famous traditional fishing village with about 2000 inhabitants. It is one of the most popular summer destinations with plenty hotels, beach bars, taverns, restaurants, and cafes. The town itself, located in the foothills of Mount Olympus, and crowned by the beautiful castle of Platamon, is easily accessible via highway and train station.

It is the ideal starting point for shorter exursions to Chalkidiki, Sporades islands (Skiathos, Skopelos, Allonisos) and the North Aegean sea but also provides a wonderful anchorage spot for those who wish to enjoy the coast of Pieria and the nearby mountain destinations.

Savvi Marina Platamonas features four basins to serve more 90 yachts, with more than 500 meters of wharfs and piers. The outer basin has 80 meters wharf with sufficient width and suitable infrastructure for servicing cruise ships and megayachts. The mooring system will be with permanent without “balloons” that hinder the maneuvering of vessels, but with an easy recovery system from the bindings.

For the best possible service, captains have to call “Marina Platamon” at VHF or landline at least one hour before the scheduled arrival at the marina. There is staff to help you with the safe mooring of your boat, the embarkation and disembarkation, and a service boat will be available if needed, also to help maneuvering.
