Marina d'Angra
The Marina de Angra is located on the south side of Terceira Island, 50 meters from the center of the historic city of Angra do Heroísmo and within the bay of this city that, since the 15th century, has been considered a “port of call for the western seas”, being mandatory stop for ships crossing the Atlantic. The marina has 260 berths for boats with max. length: 25.00 meters and max. draught: 3.50 meters
Today, Marina d’Angra is surrounded by a UNESCO World Heritage city since 1983 for its architecture. The Marina has excellent top-of-the-range complementary services, which give the city a modern edge.
Next to the Marina is a beach and, on the opposite side, you can discover the city's underwater archaeological parks. To be in these parks is to immerse yourself in history: you will find a graveyard of anchors and what remains of the wreck of Lidador, a Portuguese ship of the century. XIX.
Marina d’Angra has held the European Blue Flag since 2006.
