Der Naturpark am Südende von Dugi Otok wurde nach der Bucht benannt, deren Namen sich wohl aus dem lateinischen Wort für drei Seen herleitet „tre lagus“. Die Römer hatten sich wohl auch schon für diese grüne Seenlandschaft begeistert, deren bemerkenswertester der Mir Salzsee (Bild rechts) ist, der jedoch in der Hochsaison von Tagestouristen bevölkert und nur zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Im Hochsommer gereicht sein Salzwasser nicht zum erfrischenden Bad, da die Temperatur bis auf 35 Grad klettert. Alle anderen Bereiche sind mit dem Schiff befahrbar, waren aber vor tausenden Jahren einzelne Karstseen. Die Bojen in den Buchten sind gebührenfrei.
