Porto Colom
Porto Colom, also known as Puerto de Portocolom, is specialized in nautical and tourism activities. Large number of tourists visit Port Colom each year. It is situated on the beautiful coast of Majorca island, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, in the Felanitx district. It is 40 km away from the island’s capital, Palma de Mallorca. They can access the capital by boat or car. The village of Porto Colom is a traditional fishing village and the village attracts mostly families and couples. Its large natural harbor offers charming sceneries with small fishing boats and a lush flora. Active tourists have the chance to practice many water sports in order to explore the underwater world or heighten their adrenaline levels. History enthusiasts will meet a few ancient remains that can be visited such as the Yacimiento Arqueologico Closo de Can Gaia.
