Marina Kornati is open year round. It is located north of the ferry pier in the northern part of the town harbor.

Boating in Biograd - ILIRIJA d.d. is a pioneer in making Biograd na Moru the cradle of nautical tourism. Back in 1974, when the unique potential of Biograd na Moru as a nautical town near Kornati archipelago was noticed by ILIRIJA d.d., they built the first nautical harbor in Croatia. The hotel harbor named Kornati is actually the very spot that organized nautical tourism along the Adriatic coast started to flourish. The company also holds credit for being the first to manage their own charter fleet of 40 ELAN vessels, making them the pioneer of nautical tourism as well as the visionaries making the town of Biograd the cradle of nautical tourism.

Marina Kornati is also known as the leading nautical and regatta center of Northern Dalmatia.

Over time, when the number of guests outgrew the hotel harbor Kornati’s capacity, ILIRIJA d.d. built an additional facility in 1985 Marina Kornati in the western part of town, with additional 450 berths. ILIRIJA d.d was quick to recognize the importance of nautical tourism in the development of the city of Biograd na Moru and its impact on the tourism economy.

Today's Marina Kornati is one of the largest nautical harbors in the Zadar County. It has a total sea area (maritime zone) of 91 912 m2 and a land area of 39 688 m2. It is considered to be the real drive behind the nautical tourism development at Biograd Riviera. The boating potential of the city itself combined with the vision and courage of ILIRIJA d.d., helped Biograd to become not only a yachting city, but also the center for the development of nautical tourism.

Every year, the maritime zone hosts more than 40 domestic and international regattas of all classes and over 30 flotillas, which are attended by up to 10 thousand sailors from around the world. Marina Kornati and Biograd na Moru proudly hold the title of not only a nautical, but also a regatta center of Northern Dalmatia.

With smart investments into modern technical equipment, maintenance services and eco-systems, Marina Kornati achieved high standards. The installation of washing plant, the construction of technological water purifier, and the construction of eco-warehouse show that Marina Kornati has not only met the strictest international environmental standards, but also that environmental protection is one of its top priorities. As a symbol of high standard in protection of sea and coastline, the marina was awarded with the Blue Flag for the 6 years in a row.

, Marina Kornatiis listed among top 3 Croatian marinas after expanding its services and increasing the capacity to 854 berths, 70 out of which are onshore and 15 piers with water and electricity connections, allowing the accomadation of vessels up to the length of 23 meters.

The marina has its own maintenance zone in which vessels up to 7 meters in width can be pulled out. It features 50t travel lifts, 10t cranes, a 24-hour service of security guards, a secured and guarded parking lot with 700 parking spaces, and a newly redecorated Marina Kornati Restaurant with a tavern seating up to 370 people. Within the marina, there are nearly 30 contracting companies providing maintenance services and Marina Kornati ensures the the quality of its services to all marina guests.

Marina Kornati is the leading charter destination on the Adriatic coast.

There are over 300 charter boats owned by 12 charter companies operating within the marina and selling the world's leading manufacturers’ vessels, in addition to their charter business.

Mooring:The central part of Marina Kornati has 380 berths on sea and 70 onshore, i.e. with the total of 450 berths; the western part of marina has 200 berths in the sea, and the southern part of marina has 100 berths. The marina entrance is 40 m wide, while the deepest spot - draft reaches up to 6.50 m. The breakwaters protect the marina from winds but north-western winds can cause swells.

Sightseeing: The history of Biograd na Moru dates back the 10th century. The town known for its beautiful beaches and picturesque bays, has evolved into a tourist attraction in the last fifty years. As it was the seat of the Croatian king, Biograd has important historical sites from the 11th century. The city has stood many attacks throughout history. In 1125 Venetians destroyed Biograd but were not able to gain control for nearly three-hundred years. And in 1646 Biograd was destroyed fort he second time. There are three national parks near the city: Paklenica, Kornati Archipelago and Krka. Telascica Nature Park is also a must see.
