Nordöstlich des Hafenbeckens der Altstadt, etwa 800m rund ums Hafenbecken, liegt das Barbouni direkt am Strand und ist mit seiner loungeartigen Terrasse Trendsetter moderner griechischer Gastronomie. Der Besitzer stammt aus Thessaloniki, Frische der Produkte ist seine Philosophie, Brot lässt er eigens für‘s Restaurant backen. Gerichte wie gedämpfte Muscheln mit Wein, Zwiebeln, Paprika und Feta oder Ceasar‘s Salad mit Kalamari reflektieren seine Produktphilosophie - der marinierte Seebarsch mit geminzten Zucchini sollte hier ebenfalls erwähnt werden, genauso wie Hummer Spaghetti, gegrillte frische Sardinenfilets oder Schwertfisch Souvlaki. Im restauranteigenen Shop gibt‘s Delikatessen zum Mitnehmen. Tägl. ab 11 Uhr, bis Ende Okt.
