Sami Port

Situated on the east coast of Kefalonia, Sami is the island's second busiest port and it is very popular among tourists. The town's convenient location makes it an ideal starting point for exploring some of the island's popular attractions, while the many restaurants and tavernas around the town's beautiful harbor are a perfect place to enjoy the traditional Greek ambiance.

Corfu has always played an important strategic role‚ which has prompted the island to be heavily fortified. The island was ruled by the Venitian Republic for about four centuries‚ which produced several magnificent buildings. Since 2007‚ Corfu's charming old town has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
