Port Des Minimes - La Rochelle

La Rochelle is a city in western part of France and a seaport on the Bay of Biscay, a part of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the capital of the Charente-Maritime department.

The city is linked to the Île de Ré by a 2.9-kilometre bridge completed back in 1988. Its port opens into a protected strait, the Pertuis d'Antioche. Besides being one of the sunniest cities in France, La Rochelle has a background that continues to surprise the visitors: Beautiful arcade center houses immersed with the warm rays of the sun. La Rochelle is a historical city but also city in action, at any time or any season.
