Marina Santa Cruz

The Marina Santa Cruz (also known as Marina del Atlántico), is located in the old fishing dock, in the very center of the capital of Tenerife. It offers well-maintained quality services. The city has a good range of shops and several large supermarkets.

The port is an important ferry terminal connecting the island with other islands in the archipelago. It is also one of the busiest ports in the Canary Islands, and even in Spain.

This port has a long naval heritage due to the strategic location of Tenerife, being in the maritime route in the Mediterranean and the Americas. In the past the city has been attacked by some renowned English and Danes. It is worth mentioning two important naval battles involving two well-known British Admirals: Nelson and Blake.
