The restaurant, which is terraced down the hillside, lies at the eastern end of Mljet, opposite the rocks of the anchorage ground of Podškolj. It is easily reached by dinghy or one can anchor in Saplunara Bay and take the ten minute walk to the Stermasi. The friendly proprietor Adrijan learnt his skills in Hamburg and places great emphasis on providing excellent food and creating a pleasant atmosphere in his garden-like terrace area. The tables offer a magnificent view of the bay and the nearby Elaphiti Islands. The house specialities are wild boar and goat peka. Crayfish can be grilled or boiled and served with a large variety of sauces. Lobster with spaghetti also features on the menu. Open daily from 1.4–1.11., 8–24 hrs.
