Since its opening in 2004, Café West has established itself as a fixed star in the gastronomic firmament of Göcek. The urban waterside terrace between Skopea Marina and the village jetty, where a green area with shady trees separates it from the waterside promenade, is centrally located yet nicely set apart from the hustle and bustle. The back of the restaurant with its small bar and ice-cream parlour borders the pedestrian area. Café West opens daily from 7-23 h and accompanies the day with three kinds of background music: classical music in the morning, lounge during the day and country and latin music in the evening. The owners are always present and the staff of the all-year-open restaurant has have proved themselves over the years - this is unusual in Turkey and demonstrates a successful set-up. There is also a winter garden for rainy days. Homemade lemonades, fruit shakes, hot chocolate, coffee variations and organic herb teas are on offer. In the menu you will find a large variety starting from breakfast to light snacks on hot summer days to specialties of Turkish Mediterranean cuisine: baguettes, pasta, pizza, steaks (with pepper or roquefort cheese), flilet with yogurt and potato slices (typical kebap dish), salad variations, homemade cakes and cocktails.
