The family tradition of meat “know-how” is being upheld in this Konoba. Their expertise is not surprising. After all, their grandfather was a butcher. More than 30 years ago, Gušte senior turned the former distillery into a Konoba. The charcoal grill, the heart of the establishment, still stands outside and today the youngest son, also called Gušte and one of the founders of the Jabuka Regatta, is in charge of it. On offer are steaks or mince patties (Pljeskavica) filled with cheese accompanied by cabbage salad and Ajvar. The house red is Plavac-Babić; the white is Štrigova-Čakovec. There is house schnapps of course and octopus goulash a la Vodice can be pre-ordered. Open from Easter – 15.11. 100m from the waterfront in the direction of the old town (next to the fishing boats).
