Marina Orebić, Pelješac

Marina Orebić is open all year round. It is situated on the south side of the Peljesac peninsula.

The entrance is made by a small and a large breakwater with light on top. Marina is free of shoals and Steering in the marina is easy. Marina has 220 berths, all of which provide power and water connections. On the dry, there are 20 more berths. Inside the small breakwater, there are 25 berths for guest boats. The port can accomodate yachts only under 12 meters in length and a maximum draft of 2m. Because the water is shallow in the harbor, you must be aware of the danger of catching in the mooring lines. Big breakwater is used by ferries and small passenger ships, as ferry pier, so this spot must always be kept free.

Mooring: There are 220 berths, with 30 often available to transient boats.

Sightseeing: In the 19th century Orebic was an important maritime center, and home to one of the largest shipping companies, the Peljesac Shipping Society, on the Mediterranean. Today Orebic keeps its importance as a popular tourist destination. If you wamt to see panaromic views of the area, you can climb to the top of Sveti Ilija. Another panoramic spot is the cemetery near the church of Our Lady of Karmen, the final resting place for captains of the Peljesac peninsula.
